Pollocksed

Much art has been produced during young Jack's time in the workshop - his term for his bedroom. However, naff blog administration has meant that little of that has been uploaded (my fault). Maybe we'll try to put up weekly posts from now on. Anyway, art...

Inspired by an artist's - Anna Francis' - suggestion that a DIY domestic art gallery is a good way to liven up any home, the Boy Wonder and I got into the garden having spent a crazy amount of time on jacksonpollock.org (move your cursor over the blank screen, then click once, and repeat). The process and fruit of Jack's artistic endeavour may be viewed below:

Above: part of me wanted to intervene at this stage and say 'No more, that's quite gorgeous as it is', however, when the little man is in his element and all of that expression is pouring - or being flicked - out, well, it would be like trying to stop a runaway juggernaut.

Above: an action shot.

Above: the horizontal lines are counter-intuitive. I like that.

Above: the artist with his work, in the kitchen gallery space.
